Devin Deets Interview

Before going outside to film our interviews we had to make sure to do it fast because their was 5 people people that had to interviews within a 5 minute time frame. That means no issues just set up and film. We get outside to the courtyard,  set up the camera for most of us it was the first time using the 70D. Asking Devin questions wasn't difficult because I already knew him for a long time. I could tell that Devin was fine in front of the camera. I was the last person to interview and we two issues the card filled up so we had to cut and do the begging again. The next issue was the camera battery died. We already had another one on hand. Those small issues are really annoying durning interview especially when the person being interviewed is talking. It takes out details and rawness of the first take. When Devin had repeat what he just said it wasn't as real. Next interview I do I'm gonna make sure theses small issues don't effect my

Being interviewed

Being interviewed I felt way more comfortable with the camera then last year, more open towards the camera. It felt way less awkward to be talking in front of the camera. It was easy to answer the questions because it felt that I was having a normal conversation.  The camera felt so close to my face I thought it was going to look really bad. But I was wrong, the lighting, framing is really well done.

On the Camera

This was my first time working with the 70d. I was a little scared that if did the wrong thing everything would go wrong. I'm glad I had my priors to help with learning the new techniques with this new camera. The 70d makes everything look so clear and high def. I was really excited to be moving forward in my cinema projects, Working with camera got me really excited about what this year is going to unfold. Making new projects every other week. I want to make something that I'm really proud of, I think that learning and using this camera will help because the Quilty is so nice. I can really film anything with it and have a decent shot of it.
